Ricky Lee For me this is Mark Hjorthoy’s best work to date. The first thing I notice as soon as the track Chaos begins to play is the rhythmic pattern, groove and pulse of the track mixed with vintage vocal samples that fit the mood of the track perfectly and this would carry on right through the entire album with each track having its own mood and feel with sweeping atmospheric pads, beautiful chord structure and rhythmic arpeggios

Think Orb and Boards of Canada fused together with FSOL

Favorite track: Nightlife.

about

This album is my view on the new sins that a city commits. It traps you, disorients you at times, but the journey is worth writing about, and I don't mean that in a good way.

This is the soundtrack for an upcoming art film, starring 6 visual artists and myself.
